The Indirect & Digital Purchasing Meet Up has found its place as an annual meeting for stakeholders involved in the optimisation of indirect purchases. The half-day event includes both feedback and talks from expert speakers, providing an in-depth and documented overview of the most efficient approaches and revealing the most promising areas of improvement. For the second year in a row, Manutan has chosen to be a partner of the conference, which will take place in Paris on Thursday 5 July 2018.

Indirect & Digital Purchasing Meet Up, the annual meeting for the optimisation of indirect purchases

Founded four years ago by Acxias and Ressource Consulting, the event immediately received a fantastic welcome from major procurement stakeholders and is becoming increasingly popular. The 200 purchasing leaders attending this year will discuss the challenges of cost management, optimising processing procedures and efficiently controlling compliance. However, in addition to improving current practices, the purchasing directors attending are also looking at the bigger picture. Involved in the transformation of the profession, aware of its strategic importance and undertaking essential decisions, these directors are managing their digital purchase transformation while paying constant attention to their company's overall performance. They are also aware that this is a worldwide battle, which can be won by taking the challenges of both internal and external stakeholders into account. Solutions are available. Find out more about them at the Indirect & Digital Purchasing Meet Up.

The 2018 edition of the Indirect & Digital Purchasing Meet Up event, full of inspiration

This year, the most disruptive aspects of digital transformation—controlling the digitisation of purchases and mobilising stakeholders around their procurement role—are high on the agenda, and will be discussed in a series of three thematic sessions and six round tables. In particular, feedback will be led by Crédit Agricole, Arcelor Mittal, Renault Retail, Albéa and ARS Occitanie.

Also on the agenda for the day is the 2018 benchmarking of indirect purchases, documented by responses from the online survey. This is an opportunity for purchasing departments to create a benchmark in terms of good practices, methodologies and tools.

The Indirect & Digital Purchasing Meet Up will finish with a friendly cocktail reception and an evening of networking.

Is your company involved in digital purchase transformation? Are you wondering how to approach this turning point in e-procurement and ensure the best chance of success?
