Amina joined Manutan France a year ago. From a Sales Advisor Apprentice to a Regional Key Account Manager, she shares her journey with us.
Can you tell us about your background?
Passionate about sales, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sales and Business Negotiation. I joined Manutan France a year ago as a Sales Advisor Apprentice for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.
Today, I am continuing my third year of studies while working as a Regional Key Account Manager Apprentice. It’s an incredible opportunity that allows me to collaborate with Mid-sized Enterprises (ETIs).
What are your responsibilities in your current role?
At the moment, I am responsible for several key tasks:
- Managing prospects: I collect leads from various sales advisors and social media channels to handle them efficiently.
- Managing my client portfolio: I focus on building loyalty and developing a group of around ten clients.
- Monitoring non-contracted organisations: I assess their needs, evaluate their potential, and propose contracts when relevant.
What is your role within the Sport Dans La Ville association?
I am deeply involved in this association, which is actually how I discovered Manutan! I take part in sports events and leadership initiatives for women, represent the organisation on international trips, and practise my English with my partner every week.
I strive to give back as much as I receive by supporting the long-standing partnership between Manutan and Sport Dans La Ville. For instance, I help promote applications from association members internally, assist them throughout the recruitment process, and I will soon become a mentor to guide a young person in their career journey.
What do you enjoy most about your daily work?
It’s the trust and responsibility I am given. I always feel supported and heard, which enables me to take the initiative. Not many companies would empower a 19-year-old to launch new projects!
I also appreciate the company’s values, which are based on openness, kindness, and respect. During Compliment Week, I sent a message to Pierre-Olivier Brial, Managing Director of Manutan group. As a result, he invited me to his office for a chat—an experience I truly valued.
What’s next for you?
Next year, I’ll be starting my Master’s degree! I hope to continue my apprenticeship at Manutan, perhaps within the National Key Account Management team. I also aim to improve my English skills and am even considering spending a year abroad to enhance my language proficiency in a real-world setting.
Ultimately, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given and excited to see what the future holds!
