After graduating as an engineer from the École Nationale Supérieure de l'Électronique et de ses Applications, Amjad Ukili joined the Manutan Group as a Business Analyst.
A Business Analyst (also referred to as a functional consultant) acts as an interface between the Business Technology Department and the Operational Departments.
Their job is to:
- Gather and analyse the business need (e.g. adding a new functionality)
- Transcribe this need into functional specifications
- Propose and implement solutions that meet this business need.
According to Amjad Ukili, three qualities are essential to succeed in this role: “Being curious, adaptable and having a good analytical mind.”
