The purpose of this apprentiship is to  support the Group Webmaster in all activities. Support from a technical point of view and help maintain efficiency of working within the European webmaster community. 

The applicant will receive training during his/her term.


Therefore the main responsabilities wil be to: 

  • Support in building a functional and easy-to-use website from a frontend point of view.


  • Assist in animating the "core" website with the creation of key landing pages with the use of front-end coding.


  • Test websites across browsers, operating systems and devices.


  • Assist in website optimisation to help improve on loading speeds.


  • Debug pages and fix broken links or images.


  • Monitor and analyse site performance (e.g traffic, conversions) from a technical point of view


  • Monitor web tracking and identify potential shortages.


  • Assist in communicating to the wider community regarding global improvements and initiatives.


  • Help to document and communicate best practices with local webmasters and digital project managers.


  • Follow-up new releases and webshop evolution, with the support of Group Webmaster       

    

  • Contribute to the Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) strategy to help improve website conversions for all websites.

Qualités et compétences requises

Skillset required: 


Website coding and management tools: He/she has an understanding with front-end coding like HTML (mandatory), understanding of CSS(mandatory) and JavaScript. Understanding of CMSs and web management systems is a bonus.

Performance analysis: He/she will work with Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Data Studio and other analytical tools and platforms necessary for the effective performance of his duties. Familiarity with these tools is a bonus.

Metrics-focused mind-set: He/she must portray a comfort level and thrive working with marketing automation tools. He/she, therefore, has to be a metrics-focused marketer who has a deep interest and love for analysing and understanding data in order to inform marketing decisions.

Customer centric: Manutan is all about wowing our customers therefore he/she must be able to learn to understand our customer needs and be objective in their approach.

Critical thinker and problem solver: He/she is able to use knowledge, facts, and data to effectively solve problems, by thinking out of the box and challenging others to assess problems.

Communication skill: He/she possesses good communication skills both in verbal and written form. He/she demonstrates the ability to convey concepts and findings in simplified terms that are easily understandable to non-technical personnel.   

Languages: Fluent in English is a must. Other languages are a nice to have
