We are looking for 2 news Group Purchasers !

Within Purchasing Department, The Group Purchaser is in charge of Supplier Relationship Management, he/she deploys portfolio purchasing strategy to reduce total cost of ownership within the markets he/she is responsible for.

He/she is working closely with different departments and Sister Companies to ensure the best balance between Quality, Cost, Leadtime. He/she manages an assigned Group Portfolio made up by group and local suppliers.

Responsabilités et Missions

Portfolio Purchasing Strategy
  • Define and deploy purchasing strategy on assigned supplier's portfolio to answer Category Management strategy and customer's needs. 
  • Use segmentation to seek new growth levers, define priorities, manage risk (dual, multi-sourcing), improve profitability, seek automation or rationalize portfolio etc.
Supplier Market Intelligence
  • Manage a continuous supplier market survey and synthesize this knowledge in the supplier market review
  • Build a sourcing pool and list new suppliers to support & secure growth
  • Capitalize on the strength of the group by sourcing good local supplier from any divisions or sister companies.
Negotiation
  • Prepare and manage your meetings: set-up purchasing tactics, objectives (mini, target, ideal) and select best levers to optimize gains while ensuring a proper supplier relationship management 
  • Improve profitability by seeking TCO opportunities (sourcing, tenders, price, back-end program, logistic optimization, cost-avoidance etc.)
  • Follow-up meeting action plan and track savings 
Secure business
  • Anticipate risks (risk analysis, assessment & mitigation) on assigned portfolio (financial risk, invoices issues, production capacity, shortages, dependency etc.)
  • Formalize agreements throughout the purchasing process (Frame agreement, price appendix, tenders, additional savings etc.)
  • Guarantee supplier's commitments (agreed marketing budget, end of year rebate, deliveries, another extra budget etc.)
Enhance Performance 
  • Support Yearly supplier performance by setting-up an improvement plan together with accountable departments.
Supplier management
  • Keep updated assigned supplier profiles (status, contact details) in link with Group purchasing assistants
  • Apply new purchasing price and logistic conditions (price, logistic flow, MOQ, incoterm, etc.)
  • Ensure the management of suppliers common to several strategic markets for which he/she is responsible: consistency of offers, Manutan representative with suppliers etc.
  • Manage disputes and complaints 
Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Apply CSR at each step of purchasing processes (supplier creation, tender, ethical charter etc.)
  • Identify best-in-class suppliers following audit, self-assessment etc.
