Context of recruitment

One of our Digital Traffic and Lead Acquisition Manager, focusing on Paid Media will leave this position, therefore we need to replace him. We are managing two brands in four countries, Witre and Ikaros Cleantech. You will be responsible for Paid Media customer acquisition via all online channels. Supporting both eCommerce growth via our Webshops and through Lead generating to our Sales organisation. You will be responsible from top funnel to low funnel online media buying. 

Responsibilities and missions

Your main missions will be:

  • Grow share of digital sales and customer base via Paid Social, PPC and Display ads for Witre and Ikaros Cleantech
  • Lead the digital traffic and lead generating planning (weekly, quarterly, and yearly) 
  • Lead digital planning sessions with external online marketing agencies to support plan and achieve eCommerce and marketing objectives
  • Work closely with Traffic- and Lead Acquisition for Organic traffic, your colleagues in the eCommerce & Marketing team, Product & Category team, Sales and Customer Service, to ensure digital marketing channels are reflective of needs and develop those needs locally in close co-operation with our Group colleagues for SEM and Paid social media.
  • Be a key contributor to the Digital Marketing Strategy working closely with eCommerce & Marketing and Sales to ensure Acquisition needs are met
  • Manage the SEM, paid social media and display agencies to ensure campaigns are on track; hold weekly meetings to ensure improvements and actions are to drive leads and Webshops sales,
  • Improve ROI and reflect latest trends in the eCommerce industry
  • Manage Paid Social campaigns in house, including media briefing, uploading campaigns, testing, publishing and ongoing optimisation together with external agency
  • Day to day management of all aspects of always-on and campaign development for Paid Media
  • A/B testing strategy across paid media channels and ensure all paid activities are tagged for effective reporting
  • Identify opportunities to drive performance and build business cases if further investment is needed
  • Work closely with the Sales and Customer Service team to ensure effective targeting and acquisition (lead and traffic)
  • Weekly reporting on activity, KPIs and budget
  • Budget management
  • Presenting the business with reporting in the required frequency and format  

Qualities and skills needed

  • Proven 3+ years of experience as a SEM Manager or Specialist with proven track record of success in digital acquisition
  • Demonstrating strong analytical skills
  • Experience in managing and optimising media budget effectively, either inhouse or media/performance agency, to meet key objectives to deadline and budget
  • Proficient in the Google marketing tech stack, like Google Ads, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
  • Proficient in Social Media Ad platforms like Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • A good understanding of how SEM and Paid Social Media fits into the wider area of digital marketing to be able to support Traffic-and Lead Acquisition Manager for Organic (SEO-Specialist) and Webmaster
  • A plus if having experience from Retail and eCommerce (B2B or B2C)
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Excel and Google Data studio
  • Excellent communication skills and curiosity mind-set.


Native in minimum one Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian, Danish or Finnish) and fluent or advanced in English (verbal and written)


Nordic headquarters is in Sweden, Argongatan 5 in Mölndal. Travel approx. 3 times per year in the Nordics and 1-2 times to our headquarters close to Paris.
