Mission

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SEA Traffic Manager to join our dynamic Web team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving, analysing, and optimising web traffic to ensure the best possible user experience and achieve our business goals. This role involves working closely with other commercial teams; marketing, category management, supply chain, and IT, to implement strategies that increase website visibility, traffic, and conversions.

Reporting to the Head of Digital at a local level and with a dotted line into the Acquisition/Traffic management lead at group level. The Traffic Manager is part of a wider team of peers, each managing a portfolio of ‘Sister Companies’.  Between these two-reporting lines, constant communication needs to be maintained to properly identify and leverage relevant traffic acquisition channels, aiming to achieve business goals within the e-commerce business.

Qualities and skills needed

Develop and execute a strategy to reach targeted e-commerce growth across the portfolio of websites. Ensure seamless collaboration with local marketing teams and group functions. Oversee various aspects of web acquisition, including SEA, Affiliation, and Retargeting. Work closely with colleagues focused on other channels such as SEO and Social Media.

  • Traffic Analysis and Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyse web traffic using tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and other relevant platforms.
  • Generate regular reports on traffic performance, user behaviour, and conversion rates.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve traffic and user engagement.
  • Content Strategy and Management:
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop and optimise web content that drives traffic and engagement.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure all content is optimised for SEO and aligns with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Campaign Management:
  • Plan, execute, and monitor web traffic campaigns, including Social Media and Affiliation.
  • Track and analyse campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

Main KPI’s :

  • Web TO (Sales Turnover), Traffic and Conversion Rate
  • Traffic generation (through SEA, SEO, Social, Affiliation) : Organic vs Paid, Bounce rate
  • SEA Budget
  • # onsite transactions and AOV

 

  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in managing pay-per-click campaigns across various platforms like Google Ads and Bing Ads.
  • Analytics: Ability to use tools like Google Analytics to track and measure campaign performance.
  • Campaign Planning: Skill in developing and executing effective advertising strategies.
  • Results-oriented, with a strong ability to structure an efficient and ROI-oriented approach.
  • Ability to keep an eye on opportunities and to be a driving force in development.
  • Market Analysis: Ability to analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to inform campaign strategies.
