Claudine Banzet is appointed Deputy General Manager of PAPETERIES PICHON, a subsidiary of the MANUTAN GROUP.

With 27 years of experience in the agri-food sector, Claudine Banzet, 54 years old, joins Papeteries Pichon, a major player in the distribution of school supplies in France and a subsidiary of the European Manutan Group. Claudine began her career in the procurement function at Thomson, then Dalkia (a subsidiary of the EDF group), before joining the European group Ecotone (formerly Bjorg Bonneterre et Compagnie) in 1995, a Lyon-based company that is a leader in the organic market. Claudine successively held the positions of Director of Purchasing for France and then Europe before being appointed Chief Procurement Officer in 2012. She established the procurement organization on a European scale, co-built the overall strategic vision of the group, and co-piloted the executive committee of its French subsidiary.

In her new role at Papeteries Pichon, Claudine Banzet's mission will include accelerating the company's growth and enhancing its competitiveness by implementing an agile strategy. She will also join the executive committee of the Collectivities division of the Manutan Group (which includes Manutan Collectivities, Casal Sport, and Papeteries Pichon).

Claudine will report to Philippe Mallard, General Manager of the Collectivities Division. He declares, 'We are delighted to welcome Claudine Banzet to Papeteries Pichon as Deputy General Manager. Her expertise in team management and steering large-scale strategic projects will be crucial to successfully achieve our development and modernization ambitions in the coming months.'

Claudine is a graduate of IUP Sceaux and has obtained a Certificate of Higher Education in Business (CESA) from HEC.
