Manutan presents its ‘mobility credit’ and paves the way for new sustainable mobility opportunities

24 October 2023

The COVID-19 pandemic and the development of teleworking have redefined the way companies approach employee mobility. The Manutan Group, a B2B e-tailer committed to the transformation of the sector through a model combining the strengths of digital technology with a human ambition, is rethinking its mobility policy and now launching a ‘Mobility Credit’ enabling its employees to benefit from flexible and environmentally-friendly travel options.

Offering sustainable alternatives to the traditional car fleet

Manutan's ‘Mobility Credit’ aims to meet the different needs of its employees who are eligible for a company car, while encouraging them to reduce their carbon footprint.

It is based on three options:

  • Partial Mobility Credit: This option allows employees to put together their own mobility solution. They can opt for a vehicle of a lower category than their own and thus benefit from a mobility budget that they can use for personal purposes (short-term car hire, purchasing an electric bike, etc.)
  • Electric Mobility Credit: This option encourages employees to go all electric by giving them a budget they can use for personal purposes (short-term car hire, purchasing an electric bike, etc.)
  • Full Mobility Credit: With this option, employees give up their company car. A budget corresponding to the average TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) for their vehicle category is allocated for their professional and personal mobility. This offer provides total freedom to choose the means of transport best suited to the needs of each employee (e.g. public transport, train, taxi, etc.).

Simple, transparent management

Mobility Credit expenses are managed transparently using a dedicated mobile application and a payment card. This solution will enable Manutan employees to manage their business and personal travel efficiently, while contributing to more sustainable mobility
By redesigning its vehicle fleet around a more virtuous model, Manutan is reaffirming its commitment to environmental and social responsibility.
