At Manutan, the Climate Fresk unfolds

1 August 2024

The Manutan Group aims to actively contribute to a more sustainable planet. This commitment is reflected through a clear strategy, concrete actions, and raising awareness among its stakeholders about major global issues. To achieve this, the group relies notably on the Climate Fresk, a key tool that allows everyone to grasp the urgency of the climate challenge.

The Climate Fresk is an educational workshop designed to raise awareness about the issues of global warming among as many people as possible. These sessions involve reconstructing the cause-and-effect links of climate changes and exploring the actions to undertake, using collective intelligence.

As we began experimenting with this tool, two employees wanted to take it further by becoming facilitators. Thus, Dorian Dedieu, Group CSR Project Manager, and Benjamin Le Bihan, Group Supply Chain Flow Manager, trained to take on this role. Together, they set a goal to conduct one workshop per month to share their knowledge and raise awareness among all their colleagues at our European Centre.

To date, over a hundred employees have already participated, including the management committee, managers, CSR ambassadors, human resources... Everyone is free to sign up for the monthly sessions or request a specific session, such as during a seminar.

Laurine Strebelle, National Key Accounts Manager, shares her experience: “I learned the importance of considering this problem in its entirety, beyond the immediate and visible impacts. The way our activities directly and indirectly influence the ecosystem is striking. I was also impressed by the commitment of the trainers and other participants to understand and act. This creates a truly enriching and constructive dynamic.”

Today, the Climate Fresco has helped raise awareness among over 1.7 million participants in 162 countries worldwide. We are proud to have such passionate and dedicated facilitators in our teams to spark awareness among their colleagues, and sometimes even their loved ones.
