Armelle Lavoisy is appointed director of information systems and transformation for the Manutan Group and joins the management committee

Manutan, the European leader in B2B e-commerce specialising in the distribution of equipment and supplies for businesses and local authorities, has announced the appointment of Armelle Lavoisy (49) as the Group's Chief Information & Transformation Officer.  

 A graduate of EDHEC Business School, Armelle Lavoisy has over 20 years' experience in information systems. She has held strategic positions within major companies such as Saint-Gobain, Damart and Edenred, where she led major digital transformation projects. Her career path has led her to work with multidisciplinary teams in a variety of sectors, with a vision focused on digital transformation.  

 In her new role at Manutan, Armelle Lavoisy will manage a team of around one hundred staff, with the main task of steering the Group's digital transformation while continuing to guarantee a high level of service quality and security for the current information system.  

Armelle is also committed to turning the IT teams into genuine business partners for all Manutan employees, by strengthening collaboration with other departments to better meet user needs and foster internal synergies. With innovation at the heart of its approach, it will develop solutions based on automation and artificial intelligence, in order to create high added value within short timeframes.   

Its strategic vision is based on a resolutely digital and data-centric approach, aimed at making information systems more modular and scalable. This strategy will maximise their impact on customers, suppliers and employees, while supporting the Manutan Group's growth ambitions.

Armelle Lavoisy joins Manutan's Executive Committee and will report directly to Pierre-Olivier Brial, Group CEO.   

Armelle is also an active member of the French Women CIO association, which works to raise the profile of women in the digital sector and promote parity in technology professions.
