Manutan Group Sponsors Three Employee-Led Impact Projects

22 August 2025

As part of CSR Month, the Manutan Group launched its very first internal sponsorship program. The goal: to encourage employees to support projects with a positive impact. Out of around twenty applications, three initiatives were selected to receive support from the Manutan Social Fund, dedicated to charity and solidarity. Discover these projects that embody our commitment to a better society, a better planet, and a better business.

Inclusion through sport with Rugby Club Paris 15

Clara Masse, Group Private Label Project Manager, supports the Rugby Club Paris 15, an amateur club in the western Paris area. As the first winner of the Club Engagé Label awarded by the French Rugby Federation, the club is dedicated to promoting gender diversity in rugby and introducing young people to the sport through school and extracurricular tournaments.

Starting in the 2025/26 season, Manutan Group will become the club’s official partner, supporting the development of its activities with one clear goal: making sport accessible to all, while our partnership with RCP15 will also foster an exchange of volunteering efforts and support on sports and purchasing-related skills. Beyond this support, the initiative reflects our desire to foster inclusion and togetherness.

A sports challenge for SOS Préma

Maxime Gluch, Sales and marketing go to market manager, and Douglas Gill, Sales Export Manager at Manutan France, are preparing to take on a sporting and solidarity challenge: cycling 500 km from Gonesse (France) to Den Dolder (Netherlands), connecting our French and Dutch warehouses, in support of SOS Préma, an association that assists families of premature babies. Their journey will also carry symbolic weight, as they will transport a second-hand product to echo our commitment to the circular economy.

For every kilometer cycled, we will donate one euro to the association. A call for donations has also been launched among our employees, with Manutan Group pledging to match each contribution. As Maxime Gluch puts it: “Through this action, we want to show these parents they are not alone. It’s our way of giving meaning to our effort by channeling our energy into a deeply human cause.”

A European mobilisation for World Cleanup Day

Judith Van Kaathoven, Sales Director at Manutan Netherlands, aims to rally our entire ecosystem around World Cleanup Day, the global waste collection initiative. She explains: “This event is not just about picking up litter; it’s first and foremost a time to come together and reaffirm our commitment. Every piece of waste collected, every act of solidarity, every voice raised matters. Let’s be the change we want to see.”

For the 2026 edition, we are preparing a large-scale mobilisation, both internally and externally. We will engage our entire ecosystem, employees, suppliers, partners, and customers and will also offer a cleanup kit at cost price in our catalogue. This initiative reflects our commitment to actively contributing to environmental preservation and to being part of the solution in the face of today’s ecological challenges.

At Manutan Group, we believe that everyone can take action, at their own level, to help build a Better world. These projects, carried out with passion by our employees, embody our commitment to being drivers of change. Their story is only beginning… and we look forward to sharing the next chapters with you.
