Entrepreneurship in the Spotlight at Manutan
To mark International Start-up Day (11 March), the Manutan Group hosted a conference on entrepreneurship. The event, held at the University of its European Centre, was open to all employees. It provided an opportunity to highlight the values, journeys, and challenges faced by today’s entrepreneurs.
Three guest speakers shared their expertise:
Madina Tall, Operations Director at Moovjee (Movement for Young and Student Entrepreneurs – a Manutan partner), provided insights into the fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
Maïann Dautrey, co-founder of Arsène Boissons, a French start-up and winner of the 2024 Moovjee Award in the “Project Leader” category, explained how she transformed her ambition into a concrete project: creating a sustainable alternative to coffee made from roasted French legumes.
Xavier Guichard, President of the Manutan Group, shared the history and values that have shaped the family business since its creation in 1966.

Spotlight on the "Moov’with Manutan" programme For over five years, Manutan, in partnership with Moovjee, has been running a support programme for B2B start-ups: “Moov’with Manutan”. This initiative is open to young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 30 who are developing innovative projects with a positive impact and wish to accelerate their growth in France and/or Europe. For one year, the selected entrepreneurs are welcomed at our European Centre and mentored by sponsors who track their progress, answer their questions, and connect them with their networks. “Supporting young entrepreneurs resonates with our mission: to undertake for a better world!” says Xavier Guichard. |
