In April, united for CSR!

2 May 2025

On Saturday 22 April, the world celebrated International Earth Day. As part of this iconic event, the Manutan Group put Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the spotlight. Throughout the month of April, a series of awareness-raising initiatives took place across all subsidiaries, aimed at engaging employees.

At Manutan, we firmly believe that every action counts when it comes to building a more sustainable and fairer future. That’s why the goal of this now annual event is to inspire and empower everyone to take action.

The month kicked off with a game for the Group’s 2,500 employees, aimed at breaking down stereotypes surrounding CSR. Large-scale activities followed: a call for applications to sponsor a charitable project, and an inspiring talk on the art of adaptation by explorer and researcher Christian Clot.

In addition to these shared initiatives, each subsidiary had free rein to design its own programme. This allowed them to focus on topics they care about most, using fun and educational formats. Everyone got involved in their own way: large clean-ups of indoor, outdoor, and even digital spaces, clothing, toy, and food donation drives, and more.

The month also served as an opportunity to raise awareness around key topics: a Climate Fresk workshop to better understand climate issues, training on waste sorting, and a certified course on reducing environmental impact. Hands-on workshops were particularly popular, including the building of an insect hotel, setting up a garden, and even tasting an eco-friendly alternative to coffee.

A wide range of initiatives that brought our teams together and strengthened their commitment to our mission: entrepreneurship for a better world.
