Manutan Group and its Director of Circular Economy and Customer Decarbonisation among those shaping the future
Manutan Group, the European leader in B2B e-commerce, is driven by a clear ambition: to enterprise for a better World. This year, our vision, commitments and efforts have been recognised through two major distinctions. Manutan Group has been named in the Choiseul Conquérants 2025 rankings in the category “Pioneers of the Sustainable Transition”, while Pierre-Emmanuel Saint-Esprit, Director of Circular Economy and Customer Decarbonisation, has been selected by Le Figaro Magazine as one of the 200 young leaders of tomorrow.
Manutan Group, a “Pioneer of the Sustainable Transition”
Each year, the Institut Choiseul, an independent “think and do tank”, highlights the leaders, personalities and organisations shaping today’s and tomorrow’s economy. In its latest ranking, it shines a spotlight on 200 French mid-sized companies (ETIs), true flagships of the country’s economic and social landscape.
Manutan Group features in this ranking for the sixth consecutive year. Once again, we stand out in the “Pioneers of the Sustainable Transition” category, alongside organisations pursuing ambitious strategies in corporate social responsibility.
This recognition reflects a number of key initiatives:
- Supporting our customers in making more responsible purchasing decisions through the development of our responsible products and services offering, our range of refurbished furniture, and our environmental impact score designed to inform every choice.
- Progress along our decarbonisation pathway, particularly within our logistics operations, through the renewal of our commitment to the FRET21 programme.
- Long-standing, robust partnerships with organisations promoting social and regional inclusion, such as Sport dans la Ville, Ateliers Sans Frontières and Emmaüs.
Pierre-Emmanuel Saint-Esprit among the young leaders of tomorrow
To mark the bicentenary of Le Figaro Magazine, the publication, in collaboration with the Institut Choiseul, produced a major new ranking highlighting the 200 young leaders of tomorrow. This selection recognises under-35s whose vision, impact and ability to act position them as key contributors to the France of the future.
Pierre-Emmanuel Saint-Esprit, Director of Circular Economy and Customer Decarbonisation at Manutan Group, is among those honoured. This recognition rewards his career path, strategic vision and commitment to driving a more sustainable transformation of the B2B distribution sector.
A passionate advocate of the circular economy, he has championed and promoted this model for over ten years. Within the Group, he has already launched and developed, alongside a strong team, Manutan’s Circular Hub in Val-d’Oise, as well as circular products and services across several European subsidiaries. He is also Founder and Executive Director of the ESSEC Global Circular Economy Chair, Founder and President of the EC2027 association, and an elected member of France’s National Circular Economy Council.
We are proud to feature in these prestigious rankings, but above all we are grateful for the commitment of our teams, partners and customers. It is with them, day after day, that we continue to drive forward the sustainable transition—with conviction, high standards and authenticity. These distinctions only strengthen our determination to pursue this ambition alongside them.
