Manutan Group launches the Manutan Social Fund to structure and amplify its social impact

22 October 2025

The Manutan Group, a leading European player in the distribution of equipment and supplies for businesses and local authorities, is strengthening the structure of its social commitment through the creation of the Manutan Social Fund: an internal initiative dedicated to developing and coordinating charitable and solidarity-based projects in France and across Europe.

A framework to align and amplify the Group’s social initiatives

The Manutan Social Fund reflects the Group’s ambition to bring together social engagement and economic activity so that each initiative is meaningful and fully aligned with Manutan’s mission. Designed as a shared platform, the initiative aims to unite the social actions carried out by the subsidiaries and employees, while leaving plenty of room for local initiatives, in line with the “think global, act local” approach.

It focuses on three main areas:

  • The inclusion and professional integration of people distanced from employment;
  • Inclusive education and children’s wellbeing;
  • Mental health and wellbeing at work.

All while supporting the protection of the environment and biodiversity.

The objective is twofold: to coordinate and clarify the Group’s solidarity initiatives, while enabling employees to get involved in projects that align with their own values and those of the company. Employees are invited to propose community projects for the Group to support, whether through financial assistance, the provision of equipment or resources, or by recognising the time dedicated to volunteering.

Concrete projects led by the Group’s subsidiaries and employees

Since its launch, several projects have already illustrated this momentum:

  • The partnership between subsidiary Pichon and the association Agir pour la petite enfance, a three-year programme designed to support childcare facilities for children aged 0–6;
  • Support for Rugby Club Paris 15, which promotes women’s rugby and social inclusion through sport, in partnership with Casal Sport;
  • A solidarity cycling trip connecting Manutan Group’s warehouses from France to the Netherlands, in aid of SOS Préma, an association supporting families of premature babies, accompanied by a donation drive doubled by the Group.

“With the Social Fund, we are giving a common structure to our social commitment while leaving room for local initiatives. This initiative enables us to act in a coherent and collective way, linking our solidarity actions to the Manutan Group’s mission and our business activities. It also marks a new step in how we manage the Group’s social impact: we want to be able to measure our results, highlight their significance and make them a true lever for sustainable progress,”
explains Nisrene Haddad, CSR Director and member of the Group Executive Committee.

With the Manutan Social Fund, the Group is adopting a rigorous and transparent approach to measuring social impact. Common indicators will track the number of projects supported, budgets allocated, volunteering hours and the number of beneficiaries. This data will be used to objectively assess the Group’s social impact, which will be integrated into its non-financial reporting, in line with CSRD and Ecovadis frameworks.
