Manutan supports the first local endowment fund for equal opportunities

16 May 2025

The French Ministry of Labour’s local department, responsible for the Equal Opportunities Action Plan, is launching a groundbreaking initiative: the creation of a local endowment fund dedicated to promoting equal opportunities.
Manutan is proud to be one of the first corporate sponsors of this initiative and to host the official launch event at its premises in Gonesse.

A shared commitment model

Led by the Departmental Directorate for Employment, Labour and Solidarity (DDETS) of Val-d’Oise, this pioneering initiative encourages all local stakeholders to contribute to a fairer, more inclusive and more united society.

Through this fund, the aim is to invite businesses to actively engage with key issues such as social and professional inclusion, entrepreneurship in disadvantaged neighbourhoods, the inclusion of people with disabilities, the fight against digital illiteracy, and intergenerational collaboration within companies.

Trailblazing companies

To date, around ten companies from Val-d’Oise have committed to this meaningful and value-driven initiative: KLC Environnement, MagnumGriffon Sécurité, Abor Nettoyage, CF Conduite, Domino RH, Savi, Metalec and Mammobus.
As sponsors, they provide financial support for various local initiatives, particularly those promoting access to employment.

Pierre-Olivier Brial, Managing Director of the Manutan Group, adds:
"Through our work, we aim to help build a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive through employment and education. We firmly believe that a collective, grassroots approach is key to achieving this."

A successful launch

The official launch of the local endowment fund for equal opportunities took place on Monday 12 May at our Gonesse site. Among a hundred participants were sponsoring companies, elected officials, association directors, representatives of local missions, France Travail, and the “Les entreprises s’engagent” network.

This innovative, collaborative and locally rooted initiative marks a significant step forward in promoting social cohesion.
Through its involvement, Manutan reaffirms its strong local presence and commitment to its mission: enterprising for a better world.
