Our colleagues take on La Parisienne
This year, more than 50 women from the Manutan Group joined the 28th edition of La Parisienne, a women-only race that celebrates sport, solidarity, and commitment in the heart of Paris. With great enthusiasm, they took to the streets of the capital on Sunday 14 September for this iconic back-to-work season event.
A symbol of Unity
First launched in 1997, La Parisienne champions women’s achievements. Every year, it brings together thousands of women on a lively, purpose-driven route through Paris.
For the third year running, our colleagues rose to the challenge with remarkable energy. Under overcast skies, team spirit, positivity and determination carried them from the Pont d’Iéna to the Champ de Mars.
Manon Toulouse, Sourcing Buyer, shared her experience: “It was my first time taking part and I loved it! Sharing the race with colleagues outside of the office was a real highlight. The 7 km flew by, thanks to the fantastic atmosphere. Not even the rain could dampen our spirits!”
Wearing Manutan group’s colours in such an event is a powerful way of showing how proud we are to belong to a company where everyone can find their place and thrive. Their commitment is an inspiration to us all.
Running for a cause
Beyond the sporting achievement, La Parisienne has a strong charitable focus. This year, the race supported the organisation Sport dans la Ville, and in particular its programme for young women, L dans la Ville. A portion of every race entry fee was donated to the cause.
As a long-standing partner of the Manutan Group, Sport dans la Ville helps young people integrate socially and professionally through sport. The charity offers concrete opportunities for girls to build their futures, from mentoring, business visits and professional networking, to sports sessions and entrepreneurship support. Thanks to the commitment of our colleagues, we are proud to strengthen our support for this meaningful initiative.
