EcoVadis Silver: Manutan group ranks among the top 7% in its sector (74/100)

Manutan group, a leading European B2B e-commerce company, has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal recognizing its sustainability performance across its 25 subsidiaries in 17 European countries. With a score of 74/100, Manutan group ranks among the top 7% of companies in its sector and the top 11% of more than 100,000 companies assessed worldwide. 

A structured approach built on the key pillars of sustainability

Manutan Group’s EcoVadis assessment reflects our commitment to embedding sustainability at the heart of our operations and decision‑making processes. The Group achieved particularly strong results across the following pillars:

  • Top 2% in Sustainable Procurement, reflecting the maturity of our supplier engagement and responsible sourcing practices 
  • Top 4% in Environment, demonstrating our progress on climate action and resource management 
  • Top 7% overall within our sector, confirming the robustness of our CSR approach and success in embedding sustainability across our value chain 

This performance strengthens our ability to meet growing customer expectations around responsible sourcing and provides a robust framework to support our clients in achieving their own sustainability objectives. 

A structured, collective approach

These results are driven by a structured approach and the involvement of all our teams. Among the key initiatives, we can highlight:

  • Setting clear CSR objectives, including our 2030 climate trajectory aligned with the Paris Agreement and validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)  
  • Strengthening our policies and governance, including CSR representation at the Group Executive Committee and participation in CDP and the United Nations Global Compact 
  • Increasing our use of renewable energy, with more than 94% of our electricity now sourced from renewables 
  • Investing in employee development, with an average of 16.5 hours of training per employee each year 
  • Collaboration closely with our suppliers to enhance their CSR practices, including the signing of our ethical charter and the implementation of improvement plans

EcoVadis is a globally recognised sustainability rating used across industries to assess the quality of companies’ management systems across four key pillars: Environment, Ethics, Labour & Human Rights, and Sustainable Procurement.

As a genuine management tool, the assessment enables us to:

  • Benchmark ourselves against market best practices
  • Set new ambitions for the years ahead

Having progressed from a Bronze Medal (68/100) to Silver (74/100), this achievement marks a significant milestone. We will continue to strengthen our performance, with a particular focus on supplier engagement, Scope 3 emissions reduction and circular economy solutions. More than ever, we remain committed to driving progress and supporting our wider ecosystem - customers, partners and suppliers - in this shared journey.
