Manutan appoints Pauline Bouvier as Group Director of Data & Artificial Intelligence

25 February 2026

A B2B e-commerce specialist in the distribution of equipment and supplies to businesses and public sector organisations, Manutan announces the appointment of Pauline Bouvier as Group Director of Data & Artificial Intelligence. The creation of this strategic role reflects the Group’s ambition to accelerate its transformation and innovation capabilities through artificial intelligence, within a business model that combines sustainable performance with a people-first approach.

Reporting directly to Armelle Lavoisy, Chief Information and Transformation Officer, Pauline Bouvier is responsible for structuring and leading Manutan Group’s data and artificial intelligence strategy. She will work closely with all business functions to ensure that data and AI become true drivers of transformation, enhancing operational efficiency, agility and service quality.

This appointment follows the investments made in recent years to develop the Group’s data platform, paving the way for new and emerging use cases, particularly in the field of agentic AI. These initiatives have improved access to information, accelerated the development of high value-added use cases and supported business transformation across the Group’s operations. Manutan Group is therefore equipping itself to anticipate changes in commerce and customer journeys, supported by a robust and scalable data platform.

The Data & Artificial Intelligence Department now brings together nearly 50 internal and external contributors, structured around three complementary pillars: the data platform, process automation and data value creation. This organisation is designed to provide a secure and enabling environment, empowering business teams to operate more autonomously, reduce repetitive low value-added tasks and enhance the quality of service delivered to both employees and customers.

With a background combining entrepreneurship and technology consulting for leading international organisations such as the software company Palantir, Pauline Bouvier brings recognised expertise in designing and implementing data and AI strategies that support both decision-making and operational processes. Her experience enables her to approach data-driven transformation pragmatically, balancing value creation, operational efficiency and close alignment with business needs.

By joining Manutan Group in October 2025, Pauline Bouvier chose a family-owned mid-sized company engaged in an accelerated phase of transformation, driven by a corporate culture that places people at the heart of its strategy and performance.

“This appointment forms part of a responsible approach to our transformation and innovation journey. Within the Group, artificial intelligence is not viewed as a tool for substitution, but as a lever to free up time, strengthen human expertise and restore meaning to roles — all in the service of sustainable and collective performance,” said Armelle Lavoisy, Chief Information and Transformation Officer of Manutan Group.

“Data and artificial intelligence are now fundamental levers for businesses. What differentiates Manutan Group is its ability to harness them in support of responsible, business-driven transformation. I am committed to leveraging these technologies to strengthen human expertise, improve efficiency and generate rapid value. This momentum is fully aligned with our sustainable strategy, our alliance-based model and our European ambition,” said Pauline Bouvier, Group Director of Data & Artificial Intelligence.

A graduate engineer of CentraleSupélec and trained in data analytics at ESSEC Business School, Pauline Bouvier began her career by founding a B2B start-up specialising in the digitalisation of relocation services, before joining Palantir, a software company specialising in data intelligence. Over seven years, she supported major international groups in structuring data platforms and integrating AI into their decision-making and operational processes. She joined Manutan Group in October 2025 as Group Director of Data & Artificial Intelligence.
