Lead of CSR product data
Manutan Group

From CSR Project Manager to Lead of CSR product data, Dorian Dedieu plays a key role in driving Manutan Group’s sustainability transformation. His career path has been shaped by his participation in Tribes, our internal young talent development programme. Today, he shares his experience.

Can you tell us about your career at Manutan?

I joined the company five years ago as a CSR Project Manager. I worked on developing our responsible product range and rolling out our CSR policy with suppliers. I then joined our internal development programme, Tribes. A few months later, I moved into the role of Lead of CSR product data. It’s a strategic position, at the crossroads of business and environmental challenges, supporting both our decarbonisation strategy and that of our customers.

Can you tell us more about Tribes?

Tribes is an international development programme designed for early-career talents within the Manutan Group. In my cohort, there were around twenty colleagues from across Europe. The programme combines personal development, role immersions and collective workshops. It’s a unique opportunity to broaden your perspective and gain deeper self-awareness

What did you enjoy most about the experience?

What stood out for me was the emphasis on introspection and interpersonal relationships: understanding yourself better in order to work more effectively with others. I particularly valued the work around the DISC* profile, which helps you explore how you operate and how others function. I also have very fond memories of the connections and informal conversations that developed beyond the professional setting. There was a real sense of friendliness and team spirit within the group.

Which moments made the biggest impression on you?

The final stage of the programme focused on an inspiring exercise around the evolving expectations of Generation Z. Over several days, in small groups, we explored their aspirations and management preferences before presenting our findings to the Executive Committee. It was excellent preparation for roles involving greater responsibility and team management. Throughout the programme, I was also struck by the openness of the speakers. They shared their doubts and personal journeys with real authenticity, which made the discussions genuinely inspiring

How does this programme influence your day-to-day work today?

It has helped me better understand my development areas and relationship dynamics. In such a cross-functional role, that awareness is essential for navigating different environments and working styles. It’s even more important given my current responsibilities on highly strategic topics. I feel better equipped to engage stakeholders, stay focused on our objectives and move forward collectively.

At Manutan, we firmly believe that every employee has talent. That’s why we are committed to supporting individual development and preparing for the future. To join our company and unlock your potential, explore our current job opportunities (add link).
