Phébé Jellouli

Procurement Consultant Benelux
Manutan Group

At just 25 years old, Phébé Jellouli embodies the boldness and agility that define our entrepreneurial spirit. After two successful work-study programs at our European Campus in France, she is now leading the strategic development of procurement consulting in the Benelux region.

What has your journey at Manutan group been like?

I joined Manutan Group during my studies at EDHEC Business School as a Junior Tender Officer. I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in procurement, with the ambition of one day moving into consulting. It was therefore natural for me to specialise in this field by completing a Master’s degree in Procurement.

I then had the opportunity to continue my journey within the Customer Procurement Excellence team as a Procurement Consultant for a year and a half. Midway through, we considered expanding this activity to the Benelux, a strategic market for the Group. Having always aspired to an international career, this opportunity for a V.I.E. (International Corporate Volunteering program) came at the perfect time. Before fully embarking on this new chapter, however, I decided to take a break: a two-month trip to Asia, before starting this mission with renewed motivation and commitment!

What are your responsibilities today?

My mission is to establish a local branch of the Procurement Consulting service, historically deployed in France, for our Belgian and Dutch subsidiaries. I am structuring this new activity from A to Z: defining priorities, adapting best practices, supporting the sales teams, and rolling out the first client cases.

On the ground, I work with procurement departments to optimise their C-class purchasing strategies as well as to integrate sustainable procurement practices. I carry out in-depth competitive and market analyses in the Benelux region and regularly participate in professional events to strengthen our presence and foster local synergies.

Finally, I identify levers for operational efficiency. I collaborate with the Dutch Business Intelligence (BI) team to automate certain workflows, helping them save time, gain visibility, and maximize impact.

What do you enjoy most about your daily work?

What I enjoy the most is turning data into concrete levers for my stakeholders. Preparing a meeting, asking the right questions, linking business challenges with key indicators, and making a sometimes complex reality more understandable, that’s where I feel I truly add value.

I also place great importance on the quality of client relationships. Each interaction is an opportunity to better understand their organisation, priorities, and constraints. This enables me to identify implicit needs and propose tailored, practical, and quickly actionable solutions.

Lastly, I have a strong appetite for continuous improvement. Without revolutionising everything, I enjoy spotting what can be simplified, automated, or made more reliable, to generate both visible and lasting impact.

What achievements are you particularly proud of?

What I am most proud of is having been operational right from the start. My previous experience within the Group, combined with preparatory exchanges with local teams, enabled me to lead my first client meetings within the very first month.

Gradually, I became a recognised point of contact for field teams, building trusting relationships aligned with their concrete challenges.

Being able to start my career in such a caring yet stimulating environment, with responsibilities from day one, has been a real opportunity. I am grateful to Manutan group for their trust and for creating a tailor-made mission with me, one that allows me to grow every single day.

At Manutan group, we give young talents a real chance, offering them missions and responsibilities that reveal their potential. If you’re looking to grow in a stimulating, supportive, and meaningful environment, join us.
