Melanija Milic tells us about her career path and job as a Data Quality Analyst at the Manutan Group.
After obtaining her Master’s degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship at Université Paris 1, Melanija Milic joined the Manutan Group. In four years, she has constantly been promoted: recruited as a Publication Assistant, she became a Marketing Assistant, then Data Manager and finally Data Quality Analyst in the Business Technology Department.
Today, Melanija is in charge of the management, control and continuous improvement of data quality within the Group. This covers a wide range of tasks: “defining quality rules with the various departments, analysing this data using reference frameworks, creating reporting and quality monitoring tools, helping the various teams with remediation plans and monitoring this level of quality over time”, she explains.
To be successful in the profession, you need a good mix of skills and know-how. According to Melanija, you need to “be independent, but also know how to work in a team, be at ease with data handling and finally, be able to make proposals”.
