Our company Restaurant: a team supporting 'Well-working'

24 June 2021

At Manutan France, the shared company restaurant aims to offer balanced, high-quality meals to all its employees and their partners at the Group headquarters in Gonesse.

Photo of Laurent Guillard, the Chef of Manutan France restaurantThe Restaurant Director and his team of around ten committed employees prepare the meals completely on site using seasonal products, as close as possible to freshness and from a reasoned, thoughtful and organic culture. They manage a multitude of carefully selected local service providers (producers on the Rungis market, the Collectif Percheron - a farmers' association, etc.) and regularly collaborate with the company's general services for events.

Over the years, the services offered by this squad have continually been enhanced:

  • A Club opened for business lunches;
  • A Cafeteria launched to relax with a coffee or meet informally with colleagues;
  • Evolution of the thematic offer proposed each month;
  • Organic baguettes for sale in the concierge service...

For the past ten years, this team has demonstrated wonderful creativity, rigorous execution and unswerving agility. The pandemic is a perfect example. The team has been able to adapt its offer to the new working conditions by adjusting its organisation and offering delicious take-away meals for employees working from home (snacking and pasteurised or sterilised jars). Its next challenges include the development of the circular economy and the reduction of waste in order to protect the environment. In partnership with the company Moulinot, the restaurant has begun to process and transform its bio-waste into fertiliser.

Every day, the Restaurant plays a key role in the employees' well-being by placing exemplarity, exchange and respect for the environment at the heart of its actions. Inspired by strong values and a sense of service through product quality, the team contributes to our company mission: “Enterprising for a better World”.
