Communication on a cyber attack

Despite the precautions and security measures implemented, the Manutan Group’s IT network was the victim of a ransomware* attack on Sunday 21 February, which caused various technical failures. As a precautionary measure and in order to limit propagation, the information systems have been shut down.


Manutan’s IT teams, supported by experts, are doing their utmost to manage the situation as quickly as possible. At the same time, all Group employees are fully mobilized to minimize the impact on activity and meet the needs of customers and all of our Group’s stakeholders.


In-depth investigations are currently being carried out by experts and internal teams to assess the impacts on the activity. These elements are necessary to measure the effects on the financial performance of Manutan, which also benefits from a very solid financial position. A further communication will be published when these elements have been identified.
