At Manutan, Earth Month is an all-round success

On Saturday 22 April, the whole world celebrated International Mother Earth Day. As part of this iconic international event, the Manutan Group organised a series of events throughout the month of April. Each of its subsidiaries took up the subject to raise awareness among their employees about protecting the planet.

Apart from a joint litter pick, each subsidiary was free to choose its programme. They were able to focus on the themes that were close to their hearts, in a fun and informative way: energy sobriety, circular economy, responsible food, carpooling, eco-driving, sorting and recycling...

Tomáš Střelský, Managing Director of the Eastern countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland) who helped clean up the nearby forest, says: “We were delighted to take part in this event which enabled us to reflect together on what more we could do for our planet. It’s surprising how much rubbish you can find, even on a small path. It really was a useful event that we should repeat.”

Feedback from employees is also very positive:

The event was a runaway success with the employees who enthusiastically took part. This approach definitely brought them together and raised their awareness of this major movement that echoes our mission: Entrepreneurship for a Better World.
