Our employees run for a good cause

Driven by a strong spirit of solidarity, our employees regularly promote causes close to their hearts. Around a hundred of them took part in two iconic charity races: La Parisienne and MS Motion Run. 

La Parisienne: an all-women’s race in France

Over the years, ‘La Parisienne’ has become an unmissable annual event for our female employees. For this year’s event, around forty of them set off from the foot of the Eiffel Tower, alongside 19,000 other runners.

This initiative is not just a sporting challenge, it’s also a gesture of solidarity. All the funds raised at the event were donated to the Fondation la Recherche Médicale (Medical Research Foundation), contributing to research into women’s health, with a particular focus on the fight against breast cancer.

MS Motion Run: together against multiple sclerosis in the Netherlands

For the past five years, Manutan Netherlands has been the starting and finishing point of the ‘MS Motion Run’. This year, almost a thousand participants, including 70 of our own employees, took up the challenge of running 5 to 10 kilometres. On the day, a dozen Manutan volunteers were also working behind the scenes to help organise the event.

This race, organised by the association Nationaal MS Fonds, aims to raise funds for research into multiple sclerosis, while at the same time raising public awareness of this autoimmune disease. Thanks to everyone’s involvement, this year's event was a great success, raising a total of almost €150,000.
