Rapid Racking launches 100% recycled steel shelving range
Rapid Racking, our UK subsidiary specializing in shelving and storage solutions, has just launched a brand-new range of eco-responsible shelving. Called Rapid 3 Eco Shelving, the range is made from 100% recycled steel. It's a further step towards the circular economy and sustainable trade.
These shelving units are made entirely from recycled steel, using renewable energy (wind and solar) during the design phase. Their production therefore emits 70% less CO2 than conventional shelving. It is one of the first shelving units on the UK market to be manufactured in this way, and independently verified by TUV GmbH to ISO 17029 ✅
