Manutan secures Workplace Active Certification
On the 19th of March, the Manutan group, a leading B2B e-commerce company in Europe, was awarded the Workplace Active Certification (WAC) for its sports initiative. This European certification aims to recognise organisations that promote physical activity and sports in the workplace. It's a significant acknowledgment of our commitment, efforts, and ongoing investments in fostering physical activity at the heart of our headquarters and beyond.
We've always placed the well-being and development of our employees at the forefront of our strategy. This led to the establishment of the Manutan Sports Centre within our European campus in Gonesse.
For over a decade, we've developed a comprehensive program: an in-house team, supported by external organisations, partners, and coaches, offers around fifteen sports activities every week along with flagship events throughout the year.
It's a robust project, championed and embodied by all our stakeholders (management, human resources, managers, and employees), which plays a key role in the quality of work life. It allows everyone to draw inspiration from the sports mentality to engage in a dynamic of progress while strengthening bonds through meetings, practices, and sharing.
For the award ceremony, we had the honor of hosting Didier Besseyre, President of the FFSE, and Alister Dalrymple, auditor, at our premises. Our management and sports team were present, along with our partners, Sport dans la Ville and Novosports.
Today, we aim to continue our efforts in promoting sports at work by increasingly exchanging ideas with our peers, drawing inspiration from each other, and passionately advocating for our vision.
