Manutan, winner of the Etienne Marcel Prize
On the 25th June, the Manutan Group was awarded the 'name of the prize' for its contribution to society at the annual evening of the Etienne Marcel think tank. This award highlights our determination to contribute actively to a fairer society, backed up by strong commitments and concrete actions.
We have always been driven by a unifying corporate mission: to work for a better world. Through all our actions, we are resolutely committed to the development of the men and women who make up and surround our company (employees, customers, partners, etc.).
This is reflected in three commitments:
- To apply our promise of inclusion and diversity by allowing everyone to find their place and express their individuality.
- Offering the best possible working environment to give all our employees the means to act and make their contribution.
- Contributing to the economic and social development of the regions in which we operate.
Among our flagship initiatives praised by the jury:
- We have been involved alongside Sport dans la Ville since 2017 to support the professional integration of young people. In addition to regular meetings and exchanges, our teams include five young members of this association.
- Every Friday morning, we make our Sports Centre available to three Novosport member associations. The aim is to encourage inclusive sport and raise awareness of the diversity of disabilities.
- Every month we donate products to Emmaüs. In 2023, we donated the equivalent of almost €2 million worth of goods to the charity.
We are convinced that every company has a role to play in making society fairer and more inclusive! Congratulations to all the winners of this year's awards, which celebrate responsible and civic-minded entrepreneurship.
Organised each year by the think tank of the same name, the Etienne Marcel Prize rewards independent companies that reconcile economic performance with a commitment to corporate social responsibility, by implementing innovative initiatives in favour of employment, vocational training, equal opportunities and sustainable development.
