Manutan Group sets out its circular economy ambitions for 2035
At Manutan Group, we are committed to helping build a more responsible business model. That is why we have placed the circular economy at the heart of our transformation. By developing practical solutions that combine performance, sustainability and ethical practices, we aim to meet the evolving needs of businesses and public sector organisations alike. Today, we are accelerating, structuring and scaling an approach that is already well established, guided by a clear vision for the decade ahead.
Our circular economy ambition for 2035
We are determined to make the circular economy a cornerstone of our medium-term growth strategy. Today, we offer a broad range of circular solutions to businesses and public sector organisations across Europe.
Our offering is built around two key pillars:
Refurbished products
We provide a wide range of refurbished products, from workplace furniture and storage equipment to warehouse handling solutions and hygiene products. These products meet the same high-quality standards as new equipment while delivering a lower environmental impact and significant cost savings. On average, they offer an 80% reduction in carbon emissions and savings of around 30%.
Looking ahead, our ambition is to expand this range across all our strategic product categories, ensuring that every flagship new product is complemented by a refurbished alternative.
Circular services
Alongside our product offering, we are developing a portfolio of high-value circular services, including end-of-life equipment collection and recovery, and maintenance and repair services. These services help extend product lifecycles, reduce waste and maximise the long-term value and use of equipment.
As part of this momentum, we are significantly accelerating the development of our circular business and setting ourselves ambitious targets. By 2035, we aim to generate €100 million in turnover from our refurbished product offering.
Two strategic drivers supporting our growth
To achieve this ambition, we are leveraging two complementary strategic drivers.
Our circular hub
We have brought part of our circular operations in-house through a dedicated reuse and refurbishment centre located in the Paris region. This facility plays a pivotal role in our ability to scale refurbishment activities while maintaining consistently high quality standards.
At our Circular Hub, equipment is collected, sorted, refurbished and tested according to rigorous procedures. This enables us to manage the entire value chain, ensure full product traceability and optimise the return of products to the market under the best possible conditions.
Our external partners and suppliers
At the same time, we continue to strengthen and diversify our offering through a network of specialist external suppliers. These partners are selected according to strict criteria, including product quality, operational performance and service excellence. They include long-standing suppliers with advanced expertise in circular solutions, as well as specialist newcomers that we are integrating into our ecosystem.
Regardless of the sourcing channel, we guarantee our customers reliable, high-performing and sustainable solutions that meet the highest expectations.
By working closely with our suppliers, partners and customers, our circular offering continues to grow in scale and impact. Through this transformation, we are reaffirming our ambition: to become a leading B2B circular economy player in Europe.
