Three key tools to support our customers in making responsible procurement decisions

12 May 2026

Manutan, Europe’s leading B2B e-commerce group, is committed to playing an active role in building a better business. To achieve this ambition, we are developing a new model combining performance, sustainability and ethics. As part of this commitment, we have created three key tools to help businesses and public-sector organisations embed responsible procurement into their strategies. These solutions harness the power of data to inform, steer and optimise purchasing practices.

The CSR 360 programme for public-sector organisations

The CSR 360 programme supports public procurement professionals in structuring and managing their responsible procurement policies

It is built around two core tools:

  • Support with AGEC reporting

Each year, public-sector customers receive a summary of their spending with Manutan Collectivités on goods that are reused, repurposed, or contain recycled materials. This makes it easier for them to complete their annual reporting obligations under the AGEC law* (Anti-Waste for a Circular Economy).

  • The CSR 360 report

This comprehensive report provides public organisations with a clear overview of their purchasing activity, with a particular focus on responsible procurement: total spend, order volumes, product categories, share of eco-responsible products, French manufacturing, AGEC compliance, and more.

The CSR dashboard for businesses

In the same spirit, we have developed a CSR dashboard for corporate customers. Our key account clients benefit from a comprehensive view of their responsible purchasing behaviour

The dashboard enables them to track and visualise:

  • The proportion of responsible purchases

  • Detailed information on responsible products: ecolabels, recycled, refurbished, and second-hand items

  • The breakdown of responsible purchases by product family and usage

  • The total carbon footprint of purchases

  • The geographical origin of product manufacturing

  • The environmental impact score of products, rated from A to E

What is an eco-responsible product?

There is no official definition of an eco-responsible product. At Manutan, a product is considered eco-responsible if it contains at least 25% recycled material, and/or holds a recognised environmental label, and/or is second-hand (used or refurbished).

Savin’side®: optimising responsible long tail spend

Finally, we have developed our own methodology to help customers optimise their long tail spend. Known as Savin’side®, this approach combines data analysis, Lean principles and an agile framework. It is structured around six action levers, one of which is dedicated specifically to responsible procurement.

Following an in-depth audit of product consumption, our procurement consultants develop a tailored improvement plan based on the organisation’s priorities (carbon impact, cost savings, product origin, etc.). Working closely with procurement teams, they oversee implementation and performance tracking within a continuous improvement framework

Through these tools, responsible procurement becomes simpler, more transparent and more effective. Organisations gain access to the data they need to make informed decisions, monitor progress and achieve their objectives. This is the essence of our mission: enterprising for a better World.
