Caroline Haquet, Group HR Director, in the Cahier de Tendances RH 2025
Parlons RH, the HR marketing consultancy, has just published the latest edition of its Cahier de Tendances RH. This reference work presents the innovations and thinking that are essential to the human resources function of today and tomorrow. Among the experts interviewed is Caroline Haquet, Head of Human Resources at the Manutan Group, who talks about our attractiveness and recruitment policy.
In an increasingly competitive environment, attracting and retaining talent is becoming a strategic challenge for any organisation. At Manutan, we have always put employees at the heart of our priorities.
This can be seen right from the first steps in our European Centre, which is organised like a real campus. University facilities, a restaurant run by an in-house team, a sports centre, concierge services, etc. are all available to make employees' day-to-day lives easier.
This also goes hand in hand with genuine talent support. This includes a solid onboarding process, but also a culture of feedback, fair performance monitoring and an internal mobility policy that works. ‘Last year, at head office, 15% of the workforce was internally mobile. And these were real moves, accompanied by a raise’, Caroline illustrates.
This approach also helps to retain talent. She adds: ‘You have to give employees reasons to stay. As soon as they have a bit of talent and experience, they will inevitably be called upon. They will stay if they feel well treated, if they can plan ahead, if they have a good manager and if they understand the company's ambitions...’.
At Manutan, we are committed to offering our staff the best possible framework in which to grow and develop. Would you like to join the adventure?
