Manutan's quality team at the service of operational excellence

The Manutan Group, European leader in BtoB e-commerce, is committed to operational excellence in order to guarantee a high level of quality for its entire offering and processes, by involving all stakeholders. This strategy is embodied by everyone, from our teams to our suppliers and partners.

Dimitra Koutsochera, Group Quality Director, heads up the quality team, which is made up of six experts. The team is based at our European Centre in Paris, but also works with all our European subsidiaries.

The team has three main missions:

  1. To supply products of consistent quality that meet our customers' requirements and expectations.
  2. To guarantee that our products comply with ever-increasing national and European standards and regulations.
  3. To apply continuous improvement in each of our processes, focusing on our No. 1 customer commitment: ‘We always keep our promised delivery dates’.

Dimitra  looks back at their flagship projects: "Over the past two years, we have launched the “5S Warehouse Project” at Manutan France, Netherlands, UK, IronmongeryDirect and Casal Sport, applying the 5S method*. This has enabled us to optimise our workspaces to enhance safety, ergonomics and productivity within our warehouses."

This team of experts, dedicated to customer satisfaction, boosts the Group's performance and thus our growth within Europe.

*5S method: Japanese approach aimed at optimising workplace organisation. It is based on five stages: Seiri (Sort), Seiton (Tidy), Seiso (Clean), Seiketsu (Standardise) and Shitsuke (Maintain).
