Our collection and recycling service is now available in the Netherlands

14 February 2024

Committed to the principles of the circular economy, Manutan has been offering a collection and recycling service for electronic products for two years, which has now been extended to office furniture. Following a successful launch in the French market, this service is now available to all our Dutch clients.

Each year, enterprises generate millions of tonnes of electronic and furniture waste. While most of this waste is recycled, very little is reintegrated into re-use channels. Recognising this issue, the Manutan Group, a leading European B2B e-commerce player, sought to provide a virtuous alternative to its customers through its collection and recycling service for used products.

Today, this all-in-one solution includes collection, inventorying, quoting, resale, donation, recycling, and the provision of an CSR report. Depending on their condition, products find their best second life through our network of partners! We ensure their traceability throughout the process and provide a comprehensive report of the operation, including an CSR assessment.

Manuel Tamayo Valle, Sales Manager at Manutan Netherlands, adds: "More and more companies have CSR objectives. With this service, we can help our clients achieve these ambitions. Moreover, the CSR report provides them with full visibility of the environmental impact of their actions. It specifies the natural resources saved, the CO2 emissions avoided, and the hours of professional integration they have supported."
