CSR in the spotlight across all group subsidiaries
Each year, the Manutan Group organises exceptional plenary sessions on strategic topics. These sessions, which are an integral part of our communication rituals, take place across all our European subsidiaries. Led by and for employees, they cover fascinating subjects such as digital transformation and the strategy for expanding our offer. The latest edition was dedicated to our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy.
This event provided an opportunity to illustrate how we aim to achieve our ambition: enterprising for a better World by building a sustainable B2B model where all our stakeholders can develop and progress.
Each subsidiary highlighted projects undertaken by different departments that contribute to our environmental and social objectives, including:
- Reducing the carbon footprint of transport
- Optimising our packaging
- Our CSR commitments, charters, and certifications (EcoVadis, Great Place to Work...)
- Our responsible range of products and services
- Our circular initiatives (Circular Hub, refurbished furniture...)
- Our product environmental impact score
- Our training content
- Our partnerships with local charities...
Séverine Capitan, a buyer at Papeteries Pichon, shared her thoughts: "I found this plenary session concise, precise, and illustrated with concrete examples that resonated with everyone. Employees felt engaged and involved, and the attention in the room was undeniable!"
Ultimately, these plenary sessions are key moments to ensure that every employee understands the company’s strategy, embraces it, and integrates it into their role. This is how we aim to encourage all our teams to become drivers of change, for a better world.
