Manutan renews its commitment to more responsible e-commerce
On Monday, 3 March 2025, Manutan signed the new commitment charter for reducing the environmental impact of online commerce, in the presence of Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister for Ecological Transition, and Véronique Louwagie, Minister Delegate for Trade. As the European leader in B2B e-commerce, this reflects our determination to contribute to the transformation of our business model.
A collective ambition to go further
This charter, initiated by the government and supported by the French Federation of E-commerce and Distance Selling (FEVAD), represents a major milestone towards more responsible e-commerce. A total of 33 online commerce players* have pledged to reduce the environmental impact of their activities, from online purchasing to parcel delivery.
Marc Lolivier, General Delegate of FEVAD, commented: "This new version of the Responsible E-commerce Charter demonstrates the strength and consistency of our shared commitment to the sector’s ecological transition. Environmental protection is becoming a key factor in French consumers' purchasing decisions. We have a collective responsibility and are convinced that, together, we can make e-commerce a powerful driver for more responsible consumption."
